APA Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy Student Scholarship Program

The Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy (APA Division 29) is pleased to announce that it will sponsor three $200 student scholarships to attend:

An Introduction to Dyadic Data Analysis in Psychotherapy Research

A North American Society for Psychotherapy Research (NASPR) Science-to-Practice Workshop

October 28th, 2017

Lake George, NY

9:00am to 4:00pm

Given the Society's close connection to NASPR, this Divisional scholarship program is intended to support student members for whom dyadic analyses are pertinent to their clinical and research training. To be eligible, you must be a student member of the Division whose dues are up-to-date. You do NOT have to be an NASPR member. Receipt of scholarship funds is contingent upon workshop attendance and submission of registration and travel-related cost receipts up to $200 (USD).

Scholarship Application Requirements:

Interested students must submit the following:

1) A 500-word (maximum) proposal detailing how this workshop will facilitate their research and career training

2) An abbreviated (2-page maximum) curriculum vitae

Submissions will be reviewed by the Society's Student Development Committee. The top three rated entries will receive a travel scholarship. Submissions must be emailed to Nicholas Morrison at nmorriso@psych.umass.edu no later than 5:00pm EST on September 15, 2017 to be eligible.
