Ava Anjom is a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Utah. As a first-generation Iranian immigrant, Ava feels passionate about promoting social justice in health care and education and reducing disparities in resources for historically marginalized populations. Her research interests focus on multicultural approaches to therapy, clinical and non-clinical applications of mindfulness, and racial identity development in higher education.
