Charalampos Risvas is a second-year Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the Derner School of Psychology, Adelphi University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BA) and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (MSc) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a Bachelor of Music (BM) from Hellenic American University and a Piano Diploma from the National Conservatory. He is a Licensed Psychologist in Greece. His academic interests include interpersonal processes in clinical supervision, therapeutic alliance ruptures, and process research in relational psychotherapies and psychoanalysis, with a particular focus on mitigating trainees’ anxiety, insecurity, and self-criticism. He has contributed to research on the psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Greece and has worked as an intern in day centers and a general hospital, as well as a psychologist in his military service. Currently, he is an extern at the Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center, providing services to individuals with acute psychopathology. He is a member of the Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR) and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
