Clara Paz is a researcher at Universidad de Las Américas in Quito, Ecuador. She holds a PhD in Personality and Behavior from the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain. Clara has conducted research in Spain and Ecuador, focusing on clinical psychology and psychotherapy, particularly the use of change measures and their implementation in mental health services. In 2021, she became the first recipient of the Marna Barrett Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy, recognized for her contributions to promoting outcome/change measures for psychological interventions in Latin America. Clara is currently the president of the Latin American Chapter of the Society for Psychotherapy Research.
