Hilary Hodgdon a practicing clinical psychologist, trainer and researcher specializing in the study and treatment of traumatic stress. Her research interests center on deepening understanding of the etiology and sequelae of childhood trauma, elucidating mechanisms that convey risk for psychopathology among vulnerable populations, and development and evaluation of trauma-informed treatment approaches. As the Research Director at the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute, Dr. Hodgdon oversees treatment outcome research on novel interventions for children, youth and adults suffering from symptoms related to traumatic stress. Dr. Hodgdon also Co-directs the Complex Trauma Treatment Network (CTTN), a SAMSHA National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) Category II treatment and service adaptation center, and is the Principal Investigator of the Metropolitan Boston Complex Trauma Treatment Initiative, an NCTSN Category III community treatment and service center.
