Jacqueline Jacobs is a second year PsyD student at Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP). She received her bachelor’s degree from Tulane University. Prior to starting her graduate training at GSPP, she worked within Tulane’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. There, she worked with families referred by the Department of Children and Family Services providing mental health services to parents, caregivers, and their young children. At GSPP, Jacqueline is engaged in the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder specialty tracks, as well as the Colorado OUD/SUD Training (COST) program, designed to address the Opiate Use Disorder needs of low-income Coloradans. Through the COST program, Jacqueline worked as a clinician at Addiction Research and Services (ARTS), conducting parenting support groups and providing individual therapy for perinatal clients who struggle with substance use disorders. Jacqueline currently provides services to children and families at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
