Author Bio

Nicolas Meade, M.S., is a 4th-year clinical psychology student at Nova Southeastern University (NSU FL). A South Florida native, Nick received their masters of science degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. They completed two practicum rotations at the NSU FL Psychology Services Center in the Child, Adolescent, and Families Clinic and the Trauma Resolution and Integration Program. Their areas of clinical interest include affirmative care for gender-diverse populations, family therapy, and complex traumatization. They are part of the Trauma Resolution and Integration Program's research team and have co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on evidence-based relationship variables with affectional and gender minorities. Nick also serves on the student Anti-Racism Committee within the College of Psychology at NSU FL. In their spare time, they love to cook, hike, and travel with their spouse. Nick is a lover of all things space, from Star Trek to astrophysics.
