Ray Kaidbay (she/her) is a Psy.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology. She holds a BA in Psychology from the American University of Beirut and an MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology from Kingston University London. She co-founded Be Brave Beirut, a mental health initiative providing remote, free, and anonymous emotional support following the August 4, 2020, explosion. She is currently a clinical trainee at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Her clinical interests include trauma-informed care, intergenerational trauma, multicultural counseling, anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, and relational concerns. She integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT) in her work.

Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, with elementary Spanish, Ray is passionate about cultural exploration, language learning, and promoting mental health awareness.
