R. Timothy Kearney, PhD is the Chief Behavioral Health Officer and a Senior Faculty Member at the Weitzman Institute at the Community Health Center, Inc. He oversees the behavioral health treatment and training programs of CHCI, a statewide Federally Qualified Health Center, and teaches on the faculty of the Weitzman center on the topics of Complex Integrated Pediatric Care, Childhood Trauma, and workforce development. He received his doctorate from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology and completed a clinical internship at the San Fernando Valley Child Guidance Clinic. His professional interests include providing clinical care in a co-located primary care setting, training the next generation of behavioral health providers, childhood trauma, and religious issues in treatment. In 2019, The Connecticut Psychological Association presented Dr. Kearney with the award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology in the Public Interest.
