Salman is a 4th year predoctoral psychology trainee at the University of Miami, supervised by Dr. Weisman de Mamani. His interests lie at the intersection of psychology and religion/spirituality - including Islamic Psychology and Muslim mental health - and in addressing low global mental health literacy and care. In particular, he aims to create access to care for those who are underserved, as well as those who are most resistant to mental health care. His clinical interests include spiritually integrated, culturally informed therapy, trauma treatment, serious mental illness, and neuropsychological assessments.
