Sherene Saunders is currently a Research Associate in the SHINE Research Program at the University of Miami. She graduated from Oakwood University with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2008. In 2011, she obtained a Master of Public Health degree (with a concentration in Health Promotion and Education) from the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include: health disparities, health equity, HIV, maternal health, chronic diseases, community outreach and engagement, and wellness. She plans to pursue a PhD in public health in the future.
