Sophia is an undergraduate student at the University of Denver studying Psychology and Communication Studies with a minor in Philosophy. She is a family program intern at Safehouse Denver, and works as a research assistant with Dr. Kim Gorgens researching traumatic brain injury’s impact on underprivileged populations for the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. She’s interested in social justice, couples therapy, domestic violence advocacy, as well as working with marginalized populations as a board-certified psychologist one day.
