Zhiyao Kong is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Adelphi University and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. He has participated in a neuroscience research project at Nanjing Brain Hospital in China, focusing on the intersection of brain science and mental health, and is a member of the Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR). His academic and clinical interests center on the psychotherapy process and the therapeutic alliance. He is currently completing his externship at Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center, where he provides clinical services to populations with addiction.
