Serving on an APA Board or Committee provides a fabulous opportunity to employ and develop psychology to benefit individuals, groups, organizations, and society. The official call is below. The deadline to submit nominations will be January 31st, 2023.This will be for Board and Committee positions that begin on January 1, 2024.

I have served/chaired on a few of these boards and committees as well on the board of directors and would be happy to have a conversation if that would be helpful to you. You would apply using the self-nomination process but endorsement from the society is possible.

If you haven’t yet registered for your MyAPA account or have forgotten your login ID or password, simply follow the instructions provided once you click on the link. Additional Information:
- The Board of Directors encourages the nomination of those members who may be new to APA volunteer leadership or who are underrepresented in the current volunteer leadership structure.
2023 Calendar
- January 31 is the deadline for submitting nominations.
- The election slates are developed by respective boards and committees and the Board of Directors approves the slates by mid-April.
- Following Board approval, nominees are contacted to confirm their willingness to run, and serve, if elected, and to submit a statement to be included with the ballot.
- The Ballot is sent to members of the 2023 Council on August 15.
