Sanyukta Golaya, M.A.

Sanyukta Golaya is a psychologist, researcher and professor from India. Having pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Delhi, she went on to pursue her Master's degree from St. Xavier's College (Mumbai), and proceeded to clear a national level exam that allowed her to work as a lecturer in Indian colleges and universities. She is also associated with the Rochester Institute of Technology as an Externship Coordinator, and provides and schedule therapy services at a homeless shelter, as part of the same. Sanyukta's research interests include exploring the role of stigma associated with mental illnesses and highlighting the role of psychotherapy in various recovery processes.
