Daniel Jose Gaztambide, PsyD, is assistant clinical professor at the New School for Social Research, and assistant professor at the Icahn School of Medicine. He currently serves as Chair of the Psychotherapy Practice Committee of Division 29, and as a Liaison of Division 39 to the Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs. He is also a practitioner in private practice. His scholarly interests include short-term psychodynamic therapy, psychotherapy integration, evidence-based practice, outcome monitoring and feedback tools, and Liberation Psychology and social justice.
